A very bright, modern studio apartment close to the historic centre with excellent connections (5 mins on bus or 10 mins walk). 4th floor without a lift.
The ApartmentThe apartment was completely refitted/designed recently to harness all the best features of this location. Very clean and bright, the apartment is composed of a good little kitchen, with enough facilities for simple meals, and a comfortable dining table. The bathroom has a shower. The lounge/bedroom area (pictured) has windows on two sides making it very bright. There is plenty of wardrobe storage space. Access and Environment The apartment in on the 4th floor (without a lift) and has windows on both sides making it light and airy. There is no particular noise from the street or anywhere else. The Location The apartment is about a 10 minute walk to the historic centre, or about 5 minutes on one of the frequent buses. Testaccio is where the Roman born and bred either live, or more likely, would like to live. The borgo centres around both a central square/park, where every morning  older folk come to sit, and new mothers congregate to share time. In the adjoining Piazza, there is a large covered daily market (120 odd stalls) selling everything from fresh fish and produce to shoes and books.
Features The main feature of this apartment is the modern environment - not common in Rome. The location provides both the ability to enjoy a Roman home while still providing good access, by either a short walk or a short bus ride to the historic centre. Particulars None |
