In the very heart of Trastevere, on Santa Maria in Trastevere Square, this professionally designed (air-conditioned) modern studio apartment provides an excellent stay in the heart of Rome, for up to 2 people.
The Apartment
There is a small kitchen corner, providing enough to make simple meals and snacks. A small breakfast table and full size new double bed.
The bathroom has a toilet and bidet, and a modern large shower unit and system and there is a small changing room between the main lounge and bathroom area. Adequate space to store clothes and bags etc.
Access and Environment
The apartment is on one level. It is of a simple, effective layout in a historic building in Trastevere and a full refit was completed in late May 2003. There are main security doors at the front of the building, which is on the main Piazza, and there is a second security door, shared with one other apartment, before the door to the apartment. The apartment overlooks another small Piazza at the side of the building. It is on the 4th floor, and has a lift.
The Location
Trastevere is of course one of the most sort after areas to stay for both Romans and visitors. For the visitor there are many different restaurants within 50 metres of the front door, and another 100 metres will find many more restaurants catering to all sorts of tastes. A few hundred yards gets you to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Vatican.
