The Apartment
The apartment has 2 bedrooms with plenty of wardrobe space. One has a double bed and the other has a single and a fold out sofa bed. The lounge has a double sofa bed. There is a well fitted bathroom with shower. The bathroom is accessed from the hall/corridor. Also, there is a well equipped kitchen and a dining/breakfast table in the lounge. The apartment is attractively decorated, welcoming and light.
Access and Environment
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor (no lift). Though in the heart of Rome, it is nevertheless quiet, overlooking only inner courtyards. The inhabitants of Monti claim to be 'genuine Romans' and its lively atmosphere, local craft shops, restaurants and trattorias offer the visitor a wide choice that caters to varied tastes and budgets right on your doorstep. Local food and vegetable shops and supermarkets are close at hand.
The Location
Santa Maria Maggiore connects with Via Cavour at the Cavour metro (450 metres) and walking to the Colosseum is about 850 metres through the Parco Triano on the back of the Colosseum/Forum.
