The Apartment
The apartment is on the 1st floor, and being on the corner of a building, has 4 windows, 2 on each side, making a very bright apartment. The space is large (63 sqm) and is on two levels.
Downstairs is the lounge, dining area, kitchen and second bathroom. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Dining table and 4 chairs, and plenty of places in the lounge to relax.
Upstairs is the bedroom area, and the main bathroom, all modern, and plenty of wardrobe space. The upstairs area is very characteristic with large wooden beam ceilings (1.80 m in the bathroom).
Access and Environment
The apartment is located in the area of Trastevere just beside Isola Tiberina (the island in the River). The area is all narrow cobbled streets. This particular street has no through traffic as it is in a restricted area. The area is bussling during the day with a small fruit store right under the apartment, and there is a popular restaurant opposite.
The Location
Trastevere is of course one of the most sort after areas to stay for both Romans and visitors. For the visitor there are many different restaurants within 2 minutes walk catering to all sorts of tastes. A few hundred yards gets you to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, and the Vatican.
