An excellent apartment of deceptively large size in a good location (about 500 metres to Vatican) that can sleep 4-5 people. 1 double bedroom and the lounge has a double sofa bed, and there is an extra bed available. Full kitchen and 1 bathroom.
The Apartment
The apartment is on the ground floor situated inside a courtyard away from the road - so it is very quiet. With windows only down one side there is less light than other apartments in the area (although more than apartments generally in the historic centre). A long corridor from the main door takes you straight into a good size lounge/kitchen/dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen. From this room there is an anti-room or very short corridor with a door to the bathroom and another to the main bedroom. The main bedroom is large.
The lounge has a double sofa bed and there is an extra fold up bed that can be put either in the lounge or the bedroom - there is plenty of space in either.
Access and Environment
The Access is through the main security doors, straight through to the courtyard where there is the door to the apartment on the inside building. The building is a typical residential building and the area is mainly residential so is well serviced for public transport (in and our of the centre) and for shops etc.
The Location
Prati is a popular choice for Romans who want to live in the centre of the city. This is the suburbs of Rome, but just a few minutes from the very centre. It is excellently serviced with many buses all over the city. To see and be able to access "all" parts of Rome, this is an excellent choice. There are obviously many shops of all types, and plenty of places to go at night, both around the apartment and a short stroll into the historic centre. .
