A characteristic apartment in a very historic zone in the very centre. Up to 3 people in a configuration of a double in the double bedroom plus 1 single.
The Apartment
The apartment has a lounge kitchen area of around 25 square metres with a dinning table and sofa and chairs. The sofa is a french double sofa bed. The kitchen is a very basic kitchen corner which is enough for very simple meals. Up stairs there is a short corridor with plenty of wardrobe space, leading to a double bedroom with a small window overlooking the inner-courtyard. Directly off the double bedroom is the bathroom with a half bath and shower.
Plenty of character and features - wooden beam ceilings, heating, nicely furnished and decorated (at the end of 2003).
During the summer, fans are available, although the apartment stays relatively cool.
Access and Environment
The apartment is on the first floor (2nd floor US).The entrance is through the main wooden front doors, past a private garden courtyard, and up one flight of steps. As this is a very old building, the steps are slightly higher gradient than modern similar steps. The apartment entrance is off the main landing on the first floor. You will have your own keys to both the front door and the apartment door.
The street is tiny (few cars can fit).
The Location
The Campo dei Fiori area borders both Via Giulia and its Renaissance feel and Piazza Navona with its Baroque atmosphere. But although only 150 meters each way to these particular places, the area carries its own character that is like no other in Rome. Steeped in history and myth, it is not only one of the places to go as a visitor, but is also one of the favourite areas for the young Italians at night, making it a lively and trendy neighbourhood in historical Rome. It holds the great charm however, throughout the day and early evening. The alley that the apartment is in is heavily associated with medieval times and crafts from that era onwards. All facilities such as grocery stores and other necessary goods are "at the doorstep", obviously with many restaurants, bars, and cafes.

The main feature of this apartment is that it is a very spacious feeling studio because of the very high ceilings.
